Then Samos as a Greek holiday island is the one for you, the island itself is lush and green, which is well suited for watching the world go by on the pebbly beaches.
The island of Samos has a very relaxing informal atmosphere with pleasant bars and Cafes there are a few clubs in Samos town.
The former home to many famous ancient Greeks who have featured in History. The island is quite fertile, with rolling hills, vineyards, olive groves, small farms and beehives. Known for its wines, honey and other produce, the island is very much geared to tourism.

Food: As a long-developed tourist island, there are eating establishments to suit every pocket and taste, with the best selections in Samos Town, the Local specialities include sausages, honey and a very sweet, syrupy red wine. Plenty of choice with reasonably priced food; most restaurants are clustered around the waterfronts in the different towns and villages. gorion and Kokkari. Samos is noted for the quality of its local wines.
Night on the town: Both Samos Town and Pythagorion have plenty to offer to night owls; a handful of discothèques plenty of bars and cafés elsewhere the options can be more limited.Samos does have its own open-air cinema.
Shopping: There's plenty of shopping in both Samos Town and Pythagorion.. Plenty of wine, souvenir and jewellery shops in the main destinations. Local ceramics are a popular buy.
Day Trips: Take the 90-minute boat trip across to Turkey to the remarkable ruins of Ephesus, or visit Heraion and the temple of Hera. A ruined 7th century archaeological site that is regarded as being one of the wonders of the ancient world and the largest temple built during this period.
Regular bus service between major centres in the east; infrequent to the western resorts. Taxis are plentiful, reasonably priced and metered. Some boats and ferries between towns; boat service to Patmos and Turkey.
