Worth going at night when it is lit up and local actors revive the drama of ancient Egypt. Cruise the Nile – A plethora of Nile cruises are on offer, the best way to go is on a traditional Dhow, sit back and be transported back in time. Passing many temples and monuments and villages that have hardly changed in thousands of years. Close your eyes and imagine Cleopatra. Valley Of The Kings – The west bank of the Nile is where you’ll find this world famous tourist destination, where the ancient Egyptians entombed their leaders.
