What to buy: Albufeira for art and handicrafts, Portimao has a shopping complex. Good buys are Terracotta, Pottery, Shoes, Leather goods, lace, port and local wines.
Days out: Portugal is renowned for its excellent choice of golf courses, beginner or the experienced low handicapped golfer ensure you make the most of the many courses available. Tennis, bowls and horse riding are also available.
Take a day away from it all on one of the many day trips available go on a Catamaran cruise; visit the countryside or the Algarve Mountains on a Jeep safari.

Praia Da Rocha - One of the Algarve's most popular resorts, good for families and couples seeking something for everyone. The tree-lined promenade hosts the resorts ample array of restaurants, bars and boutiques. A beautiful sandy beach with rugged cliffs behind, boasts another Blue Flag Awarded beach for 2001, as well as excellent watersports for the more daring.
Albufeira Region - A combination of the popular beach resort with the traditional fishing village hosts the Old Town. Many guests return here year after year, seeking to combine the two and have a truly memorable holiday. There are enough bars and restaurants to satisfy all tastes.
