Turkey is where East meets West. The beaches are fabulous, the sea is the deepest blue and the culture is just as colourful. Choose between the splendid beach and translucent waters of the lagoon at Olu Deniz, or the sandy beaches of Altinkum - perfect for watersports.

Try and find time for a trip to Dalyan Beach (a breeding ground for the famous loggerhead turtle), whilst the harbour in Bodrum is the perfect place to watch the sun set behind the old castle.

Resorts in Turkey have something for everyone; bars and pavement cafes, traditional music and belly dancing, not forgetting Turkish delight!

Shopaholics will love Turkey with its bustling bazaars and markets.

Enjoy haggling for everything from leather goods and jewellery to traditional woven carpets.
The combination of sun, sightseeing and a warm welcome makes Turkey a great place to visit!

Turkey holiday resorts.

Altinkum

A charming resort whose name translates as 'Golden Sands', Altinkum caters for its many visitors with superb hospitality, creating a relaxed atmosphere away from the hustle and bustle of livelier resorts. At night Altinkum exudes life; with lots of bars and restaurants, and even an open-air disco!

Gumbet
In the past 15 years Gumbet has grown from a near deserted sandy bay into one of Turkey's most popular beach resorts, particularly with British holidaymakers. The hills stretching around it are now covered in square white villas and the beach is lined with hotels, bars and restaurants. The hilly little town centre behind the beach has its own 'bar street' where music beats out until the early hours.

Marmaris

Once a small fishing port, Marmaris has become one of Turkey's most popular tourist destinations. Located on the Aegean Coast, its town and marina is surrounded by pine-covered hills and rambling mountains.
