Holidaymakers spending more
Posted on March 21st, 2008 in Featured Holiday spending increase
British Holidaymakers are spending more € euros on their Travels than ever before.
British holidaymakers spent £18,770 million on trips to the Med and Europe, excluding the costs of travel to and from the countries, in 2007. That compares to £17,132 million in 2006.
In spite of the high value of the euro against the pound – and the relative weakness of sterling versus other currencies, particularly the US dollar - Cheaperholidays Travel Money expects to see more euros exchanged this year than ever before.
