Holiday advice tips – cheap travel deals

Holiday advice tips - cheap travel deals Consumer holiday advice: With the consolidation of the likes of mytravel Going place and Airtours in to the Thomas Cook travel group, it begs the question of who has the best cheap travel deals.

Plus Tui Travel, who own Thomson and First Choice holidays, Portland direct plus Hayes and Jarvis, Sovereign and Twenty’s.

As we have stated previously Thomson and First Choice sell over 74 % of the travel deals from the UK. With Thomas Cook clearly stating that over 35% of their turnover comes from Online booking.

holiday travel adviceSo if you go to your local travel agent, i can assure you that any deals they offer, will be at least 20% more expensive. Than the same deals booked online with the likes of Thomson or First Choice.

In fact any holiday you book direct with the Tour operators is going to be cheaper than the local travel agent or Teletext.

Having said all that, there are a few things you can do to make your next holiday even cheaper.

Take this deal: Coral Beach Bungalows 4 star Lanzaorte Playa Blanca
£169.58 for the appt plus flights, on the 30th of May for a week.

If you are confident in booking cheap flights Avro easyjet ect then booking the accommodation on its own can work out cheaper as you pay for the room and not per person.

So on a self catering deal that costs say £150 which is £75 each or 3 of you still £150 or £50 each plus flights.

Something worth thinking about.
