This has to be the greatest farce in travel, with the hotel industry in recession, some idiot has decided the way to go is to advertise high value hotel bookings ON twitter.. cgi298bsr6
Inoqo Is allowing hotels to advertise high value hotel packages on Twitter, point of failure here is the rooms are vacant because no one wants them..
Of Course they realise that high value hotel bookings are few and far betwean …..
The privately-funded company, Inoqo daft name. Has decided that it can try and move hotel rooms on twitter
It only publishes unique hotel packages available within the next 48 hours.
Twitter users can follow the stream for their chosen travel destination and request deals directly into their personal Twitter stream as they go live.
“Hotels can now meet these needs by harnessing the real-time power of Twitter.”
Dont hold your breath this sort of rubbish has been and gone before..
The service goes live on Monday with 30 launch hotels in the USA, France, Portugal, England, Scotland, Ireland and South Africa.
