Harvey world travel closes – beware vacation world

holiday travel adviceTravel Advice: Harvey world closes after ABTA removed their membership (enough said) but beware of vacation world a cowboy operation run by Stuart Arnott, owner of Global member Vacation Travel.

Who foolishly took 57-strong Harvey World off Stella Travel’s hands in April, has bought back just over half of the network through a new company called Vacation World.

The 25-shop business will now become a member of the Hays Independence Group, run in the interim by acclaimed travel retailer Simon Maunder who previously sold his successful Lets Go travel business to Harvey World.

The shops that have closed are Biddulp, Bideford, Bourne, Bristol Airport, Cambourne, Cannock, Chard, Compton, Exeter, Falmouth, Holywell, Market Drayton, Plymouth, Stafford, Totnes and Wellington.

Those still to be sold are Taunton, Yeovil, Attleborough, Aylsham, Beccles, Downham, Diss, Framlingham, Halesworth, Holt, March, Morth Walshal, Old Catton, Spalding, Whittlesey, Wymondham.
