Hotels 4u and Med Hotels are the first to leave ABTA following the decision to force them to adopt liability for bookings…
This of-course may open up a problem with how secure your money is if you choose to book with them, and they should go bust..
The move comes following a recent vote by the association’s members to enforce all bed banks with ABTA membership to accept liability for customers bookings should an agency fail.

Holiday advice APD: As Air Passenger Duty (APD) is set to rise on the 1st of November, a new survey reveals that most people believe it is time to reform this green travel tax.
If this is an environmental tax why is the Government not helping the countries that have been the most affected by climate change?
If the money is not being used for this purpose then where are the funds going? It is simply not enough to tax as a deterrent.

ABTA member The Inta Group – Longshot golf holidays, of Gateshead, ceased trading and cannot meet its future liabilities, the association said.
The company traded as Longshot Golf Holidays and a range of other sporting brands has collapsed. The company also used the following trading names: 3D Golf, Bill Goff Golf Tours, Jack High Bowling Holidays and Sunshine Challenge.
