The Portugal weather forecast for temperatures in the summer months can reach as high as 30C, with the average for July and August averaging out at 27-28C, and the area enjoying up to 12 hours of sunshine every day.
Winds tend to keep the temperatures down a little, and these coastal breezes can sometimes be quite strong. During the spring and autumn months the temperatures in the Algarve reach a pleasant 17-19C, and these mild days, accompanied with plenty of sunshine, prove to be the best time for touring and sporting activities.

Praia Da Rocha - One of the Algarve's most popular resorts, good for families and couples seeking something for everyone.
