Travel UK NEWS: UK holidays and travel deals more popular, now the the prospect of a long and hot British summer is on the cards, and is a bigger threat to holidays abroad than that nonsense about swine flu or the recession.

Last week the UK Met Office predicted “a HOT barbecue summer”, prompting a rise in UK travel bookings.

“Cheaperholidays Customers know they can go online to find a cheap last-minute deal if the UK weather turns bad”.

Ewen McCallum, chief meteorologist at the Met Office, predicted UK temperatures this summer would creep above 30C. Making UK travel, holidays and short breaks more tempting.
