Travel agents review: One in four holidaymakers fnd Travel agents and review sites cannot be trusted, according to an independent survey of over 2,000 consumers.

The research found over 28% of consumers who booked a holiday through a travel agent felt their trip did not accurately reflect the description in the brochure.

With high st travel agents not passing on information such as, building work nearby or at the accomodation, their own experience of the holiday resort, and pushing to sell just one holiday option..

Travel review websites also took a a battering after it was revealed the most are owned by tour operators..

“Travel agents must be able to provide advice on the more subjective aspects of a holiday. Those who do this will remain successful as holidaymakers will return to ones they feel they can trust.”
