The family of two children gassed to death while on a half-term holiday almost three years ago have described a further delay in the trial against those charged with their deaths as “disrespectful”.

Twelve defendants, including two British Thomas Cook reps, were due to be tried.

Christianne Shepherd, seven, and her brother Robert, six, known as Christi and Bobby, died from carbon monoxide poisoning after fumes leaked into their apartment in Corfu in October 2006, while they were on a Thomas Cook holiday.
