The most stupid travel complaints

Thomas Cook and Abta have released a list of the strangest complaints made by British tourists.

travel-complaintsOne of the silliest travel complaint’s includes,

A British guest at a Novotel hotel in Australia said his soup was too thick and strong, not realising he had been supping from the gravy boat, Doh…

One envious holidaymaker complained that his friend’s three-bedroom apartment was “clearly bigger” than his one-bedroom place…

While others could not hide their frustration that it took them nine hours to fly back to England from Jamaica when it only took the American travellers a mere three hours to get home.

UK tourist who complained his honeymoon had been ruined after the sight of an aroused elephant made him feel inadequate, then don’t look.

Another complaint (you do wonder should these people be allowed out on the their own..) felt the beaches were too hot and sandy while another couple’s children were apparently startled by the fish in the sea.

“No-one told us there would be fish in the sea,“ the complaint letter said.

The most common complaints were about nature with one such letter reading: “I was bitten by a mosquito – no-one said they could bite.”

And perhaps the most bizarre came from a female traveller who blamed her hotel for her pregnancy.

She wrote: “My fiance and I booked a twin-bedded room but we were placed in a double-bedded room.

We now hold you responsible for the fact that I find myself pregnant,’ the guest said.

“This would not have happened if you had put us in the room that we booked.”

Other complaints included there being too many Spanish people in Spain and too much curry served in restaurants in India.

We have plenty more but these are a fair spectrum of the stupidity of some people
