Swine flu pandemic travel advice: I appears that the WHO – The world Health Organisation have decided rather pointlessly to declare swine flu (H1N1) a pandemic. Further causing needless panic and distress.
So what does this mean for us, well nothing.
This word Pandemic just means, that it is in more countries – Yawn…
This Swine flu or H1NI Pandemic:
- Does not mean its any more dangerous than normal flu.
- You do not need to take any special precautions
Swine flu in most countries has been mild and there have been no signs of it becoming more deadly, after all normal flu kills 12000 in the UK on average every year. Just to put this nonsense into perspective.
The percentages of the world population affected, its not worth working it out. However it would look something like this 0.0000000000001%.
Swine flu has to be officially designated a pandemic because it is spreading easily in two distinct regions, the Americas and now Australia.
Swine flu is now present in 74 countries so while there’s little need to panic. Its worth noting.
