Ryanair news: Michael O’Leary said “Ryanair is all about finding ways of raising discretionary revenue so we can keep lowering the cost of air travel.”
Cheaperholidays comment: Ryanair is all about ripping customers off, from charging £38 for extra duty free bags to charging for hold baggage and now to charging to use the loo,
He added: “One thing we have looked at in the past and are looking at again is the possibility of maybe putting a coin slot on the toilet door so that people might actually have to spend a pound to spend a penny in future.”
He denied that passengers could get caught short without the money, adding: “I don’t think there is anybody in history that has got on board a Ryanair aircraft with less than a pound.
It seems Ryanair is prepared to plumb any depth to make a fast buck and, once again, is putting profit before the comfort of its customers.
Charging people to go to the toilet might result in fewer people buying overpriced drinks on board, though – that would serve Ryanair right.

i have travelled with ryanair 10 years ,and for the last 4 very often to spain, always with hand luggage the required cabin size ,lately i have seen especially in alicante airport ,bullies employed by ryanair ,forcing people to check in bags even though they fit in cages ,or are the same height as their carboard boxes they bring out ,greedy horrible people .but last sat my daughter flew home from malaga to cork with this same bag,it fitted in the cage ,many people saw this as did this bullys co worker ,who said it fitted ,but no he made her check it in at a 40euro charge,he was rude and dismissive of her pleas ,afraid he would stop her boarding she removed her case from the cage ,with other passangers ,saying it fits to this guy ,his co worker tried to reason with him ,but no way was this creep budging ,leaving my daughter upset and 40 euro out of pocket ,also to make it worse 2 spanish girls with bags ,that didnt fit were left through ,as they were having fun with creep, laughing and chatting in spanish ,though good luck to them .greed and rudeness seems to be the path of ryanair and some of his staff, shame on them all.
