Over a quarter of holidaymakers (27 per cent) are so excited at the thought of the great holiday get away, that they pack their bags in advance at least a week before their holiday, according to a new survey.
Women, at 37 per cent, were more than twice as likely as men, at 18 per cent, to pack their holiday bags in advance.
Plus we also found that nearly a third of people, 31 per cent, repack at least twice, with the average UK holidaymaker taking one hour, 25 minutes to get their holiday gear together.
Most of us are neat, with just over 75 per cent choosing the classic method of rolling and folding clothes, with 15 per cent just squashing and cramming items into bags and nine per cent simply chucking their clothes in a case.
Only four per cent use the bare bones approach to leave plenty of room in their bags for purchases abroad.
