Travel advice news and issuesIt seems that Luton town council has refused to allow in-flight marriages and has taken the common sense approach to one of the low cost carriers.

The low cost carrier, who being hungry for publicity pushed the rather daft idea, of In flight marriages to the travel press..

Luton Borough Council insisted an aircraft was not a “seemly and dignified place” to hold a wedding ceremony.

They also stated “It would not be possible as the local authority would have to provide staff to conduct a ceremony and register a marriage or civil partnership”
