Mexico travel issuesMexico Travel news issues: Operators have decided to extend the suspension of flights and travel to Mexico following FCO foreign office advice about the risks of catching swine flu.

Thomas Cook has decided to cancel holidays to Cancun up to and including May 22.

Meanwhile, Thomson and First Choice Holidays have cancelled all outbound flights operating to Cancun and Cozumel up to and including May 18.

Thomas cook and Thomson are offering more holidays to the Dominican Republic Jamaica and Egypt for people who want to switch to other locations.

Parent company, TUI, said customer demand has switched from Mexico to other medium and long haul destinations, particularly Jamaica, Egypt and the Dominican Republic.
