The Cabin crew union unite, has to give seven days notice of any action so the earliest any walkout can start would be May 17 if they announce a strike on Monday.
Voting figures: With just 81% of the 12,000 BA cabin crew who belong to the Unite union voting against the latest BA pay deal, which would have ended the long-running dispute over pay and conditions. The turnout was 71%…
So in effect you have 81% of the total turnout of 71% of the Unite members, actually voting to reject the Ba deal, not a huge commitment.. Just 6900 cast a vote to reject – just over half of the 12000 members..
