Unite British Airways – what a mess
The union quite rightly fears BA will sack strikers – which would break the law, but BA may be prepared to pay the ensuing compensation to break the union.
BA will keep 60% flying
In the first strike period, BA will operate all long-haul flights to and from Gatwick and more than half of short-haul flights at the airport. All London City airport flights will operate.
