A holiday to Barbados means you are on a island that is just a 30 kilometre long, which has superb sugar-white sandy beaches, that gently lead into the most beautiful and clear turquoise sea on its South and West shores, on the north coast you get bracing Atlantic breakers and a breathtaking coast line.
Inland you get a mixture of green fields and hundreds of sugar plantations surrounded by small traditional colourful houses and churches. The reggae and steel drums can always be heard.
Sport: there are three golf courses and a variety of sports including water sports diving & sailing and land based sports including mountain biking widely available here as they are elsewhere in the Caribbean.
