Agadir holidays

"Pack your sunhat and shades, cos life's a beach in sun-soaked Agadir."

So the Agadir that welcomes you today is a resort with wide, open streets. Avenues which encourage slow walks in the late evening sunshine. There are palm trees, gardens and rows of elegantly simple houses with cool, white-washed walls.

Make sure you take a high factor protective lotion; you will change colour quickly here, without realising the true strength of the sun's rays. Agadir is also a great hub. It's easy to fly into and brilliantly placed for excursions to the fabulous old, walled city of Taroudannt, the aptly named Paradise Valley and the unmissable Massa Lagoon. Perfect for when you feel like mixing a little sight-seeing with your sand-time. -----------------------

"Magical Morocco thrills the senses with its heady mix of vibrant colours, exotic aromas and shimmering sands."

Ancient yet modern, frenetic yet soothing, Morocco is an exotic land of contrasts. Its very name conjures up a host of colourful images and evocative sounds...bustling souk markets, blazing sunshine, red mud-brick kasbahs, intricate handwoven rugs, and billowing hookahs.

Truly a country of many faces, Morocco is profoundly traditional and yet at the same time strongly drawn to the Western world. Get ready for a blend of old and new, local and Western when you arrive in Agadir – this popular fishing port has all the appearance of a European resort with the added attraction of a distinct Moroccan flavour.

**Muslim religious beliefs require women who wish to visit Mosques to dress modestly; covering arms and legs will be required.**
